COVID-19 After Effects
The COVID-19 after-effects are scarier than the coronavirus itself.
The virus has started from a city named Wuhan in the Hubie province China. It had killed more than 3000 people in China. After killing and sickening many people in the region the virus spread to foreign soils.
In the European region, the virus is deadlier than it was in the place of its origin. The virus had affected several thousand people in Italy, Spain, France, Germany, several other countries in Europe. COVID-19 had killed more than 10,000 people in Italy. As far as death is concerned Spain rally behind Italy.
Developed countries like Germany, France, and the UK are unable to cope with the virus. Not even a country in the world is prepared for this scale of the catastrophe.
The virus didn’t let any country stay away from its horror. In Asia, Iran is facing a tragedy that they never thought of. The hospitals have never met such a situation where they are falling short of medical kits, masks, and ventilators before this tragedy.
The USA is one country where the COVID-19 positive patients are more than 150K and are increasing every passing day. This made them stop most of their economic activities which led to a recession like situation, not only in the US but in the whole world.
Due to the current economic condition of the world, many people lost their jobs in the US, Germany, Italy, France and also in other parts of the world.
In developing countries like Argentian, Brazil, and India many people will lose their job in the coming days due to the considerable loss of money that companies got this quarter.
According to Moody’s Analytics, nearly 80 million people in the U.S. are at moderate or high risk of being laid off as a result of the corona virus pandemic.
The travel industry has suffered the most because of the lockdown in various parts of the world. The Aviation big wigs are also facing the heat due to this halt.
There is a huge chance that some people will suffer mental instability due to deaths and lockdown in most parts of the world. They are unable to meet people and discuss their problems with other people.
Quarantine is a term which doing rounds in social media and the traditional media. People who are found positive are told to be in quarantine for at least two weeks so that they can not spread the virus to other people.
There are many instances where people are being racially abused because of their ethnicity. In a press conference, President Trump used the “Chinese Virus” where he shouldn’t have used that term, which might spike the rate of crime against Chinese people.
In poor countries lockdown has made the life of the already downtrodden people hell. Daily wagers are suffering the most in the of lockdowns. The third world countries might face another huddle while feeding the poor who have lost their jobs in these extreme circumstances.
